*Sweet Memories - Thanksgiving - We search for God somewhere, but God is in human form everywhere*

8 yrs back memories, we can remember for 8 more years by writing here and we can add more good things.

No full names, so no one can find more about that, only related folks can understand, it is like story. Hope you guys will enjoy and share with our colleagues/ friends with good heart.

Worked at SHA (Simple Humble Area) for 8 yrs under Roger valuable guidance. Roger helped me a lot as mentor/ supporter/ protector. I never felt, I am a contractor there, like an employee.

More than 150 folks, I trained about our application. I appreciate all Roger help.

Only few genuine folks (Guru) know how to use, shine and encourage the available resources. They will recognize the capability and improve it by giving chance and supporting us.

Hope you are healthy and doing good. I always ask about you, while talking to other folks. Happy Advanced thanksgiving. God bless you and help you.

After moving from east 2014, I am with Mom, above 70 yrs, who has BP Sugar and can't walk 10 steps without my hand and don't know her tomorrow due to health issues.

So now primary duty is to taking care of her. Whatever they gave to us, we have to give back to our parents and in-laws at least. Have nice weekend.

I am one man army for that server/ application - accessibility, programmer, web developer, admin, business analyst, database, tester, trainer, etc., all in one. We may not know everything, but when we got a chance to learn more, learn it. Always be like a student.

While working there only, we started the hobby of making videos, taking photos and visited 50% of the country.

Why I left the best place? My project is going to over and replacing the server and no one assured me after that heartfully - This is one side. The other side - Mom can't stay in cold weather. So need to move to sunny place.

But still we answered all phone calls and helped them with questions.

Every time you are helping us quickly and pointing us to right direction immediately. We appreciate all your help. Even if someone didn't do bad, still we need to thank them also heartfully.

You many not know that each help we are getting also shared/ supporting for Living Guru Seva, 77 yrs old Mom, who doesn't know tomorrow and can't walk 10 steps without holding hand, from 9 yrs, which is basis and first step for conquering Arishadvarg and AshTavyasan sadhana related to Spirituality/ God.

For God, we have to give back so much, are we doing that by helping another human life? Please give back as much as we can for everyone, at least for older Parents and In-laws.

If our body is temple and soul is the God then only we will try to see/ meet the God, otherwise it is impossible in our life ending and for many other birth life.

Everything is recording by Panchabhut, which is also good for our children in future and will get God's help. Whatever we gave and thought even in mind good/ bad, the same results we will get back. Thanks.

Is Karl also in FB? How is he? Hope he is doing good and healthy. God bless him and family.

He is a nice person, in SHA, he was the first person who received/ talked to me and make me comfortable on first day. He told me, don't worry about anything, take your time and try to learn the application and help us. Later days Roger came from Leave and said the same.

We search for God somewhere, but God will appear in human form everywhere, if we have good heart to give and take.

Whether we are contractor or employee, do best from our heart. Other hearts will respond. If no one respond, then we need to find another best place.

Heart and soul is first. Money is 2ndary. Whoever think, money is first and addicted to that, they will fail in the life even at the end. Their children also will not care them, because we showed them money first relation/ gratitude last.

That's why in Hindu context spiritual elders will tell - first make our body as temple and soul as God. Then we both are same, God will be with us and within us.

Other than my managers Karl/ Roger. Best buddies are Alex, Vickey, Angel?, Scott, PM David?, Design Division Head David?. ? Names not sure. Few more folks, I forgot the names.

Alex and Vickey are in next cubes/ area, so always make jokes and make the environment smile/ cool. Alex is only one nice heart person, who felt bad about he can't give send off while leaving the job - Feb, 2014.

Scott helped me with Social media awareness like Facebook and twitter and their use. And also Google Analytics usage.

PM David also fun guy, always come to me and chat, he gave me extra project, on Salesforce, I don't know anything at that time. But he said, YES, you can do it by learning from scratch and already 50% you know as Java guy. Roger agreed and said if you want to learn in free time, sure do it.

All contractors in different teams/ floors used to come to me and explain their good/ bad as good friend/ listener, always some meeting/ discussion was going on, even in local language. Center point for everyone.

Roger/ Karl never scolded me for that, because they know that workwise, no issue, he will take care. Even when TeamSite Server was crashed, I had all the backup and rebuild it from scratch without calling support guys by paying more money. Even if we call them, they won't do better and also not on same day.

Brain used to joke while moving around, something is going on here my friend, by seeing always someone around me. lol. But he will also stand there and talk few words and leave. Some magnet is there, irrespective of their position, most of them will stand there and chat/ joke.

With DBAs, always we will have quarrel, lol, they want to follow the process and it will take time. But my users don't want to wait for that and I also support them. At one instance, we got challenge about one issue - they asked me to prove on new oracle feature.

I installed oracle grid on my 2 home computers and showed the result with proof. lol, funny competition. My managers still supported all my actions - if you want to teach new feature to them, show it, nothing wrong.

Do we have Design Dept. head David FB account? He likes me so much and always makes fun jokes and tell everything. He made the possibility to train more than 100-200 folks. A great moment in life. It is the big department with many users.

Even though I was moving around Planning, Design (big dept.) and Construction depts. area. David is strong supporter to me. He used to tell about his military adventure things also. I didn't see him a single day without a smile/ joke.

He was division chief, he had his own burdens and meetings. But whenever I visited with a question, he would smile and answer that quickly as first priority.

If any business users comes to me for any help, first I will help them and then later inform Roger about that. Everyone was happy - this guy was supporting us quickly.

Like other groups, we won't talk about long process and discussion. Our goal was make customer happy, do quickly, even by breaking rules. Roger always supporting all my actions.

One day, David told me, why don't you take class for all of us, instead of explaining individual. I asked him, are they able to understand my English? we both were joking.

David said, if your manager and myself understanding these many years means, anyone can understand your English. Don't worry, if someone says I don't understand, send to me, I will explain to them. lol..

Even in our contract folks, they used to joke on me - How you are explaining the things to Manager, he will understand only your English, no more questions. But when we explain, we will get back lot of questions. lol.

I told them, good or bad, everything I will share clearly with my manager, no hiding or drama. Always he will support me and also scold in private if needed. Trust.

I explained same plan to Planning and Construction Dept. Heads, the Design Head thoughts and acceptance. They all in different floors. Everybody was ok, they want to follow Design Head.

So all 3 Depts. agreed and send email to their users, be prepare and cooperate with him and learn from him by asking all questions.

Then I told Roger about 3 departments decision, he said, no problem, if they want to do it, go ahead and take the classes. I took 2 batches daily - one morning and one evening for few days.

I told them in the class, I am here to help you and reduced the stress and time from Public, why you want to answer the call and explain the same for each one? Understand this application and dump all the data there before public request, no one will call us. We all will be happy and public also happy, time saving for both. They like that words and learned with smile.

That was really fun, teaching all business users, different different questions attitudes.

Last but not least, thanks to my company ceo Preeti, who gave this wonderful opportunity, by believing I am the best fit to handle that critical situation and application, and increase the trust by client and make base to grow, even though no previous developer was there to do knowledge transfer about that server/ application. Even we won't get anything in google search about that proprietary product.

I think, I succeeded in that, 8 yrs job was not simple thing as one man show. Later so many folks in different technologies joined and played their role. while I was there, my company was strong, but after I left, I don't know how it turned.

Thanks to SHA and my company folks. Remembered old golden days, 8 yrs back sweet memories. Happy thanksgiving.
